Commonly Asked Questions

We are not currently performing any single-family installations due to COVID-19. We are only doing multi-family and commercial programs for the time being. We will keep our information updated on our website and social media pages so that our customers are informed of when we start single-family projects again. Please contact us if you have any questions.

A 10” rough-in is the space between the wall and the toilet bolt that attaches the toilet to the ground. We need this measurement in order to provide you with the correct toilet size for you. Most toilets have a 12” rough-in, but some do have a 10” rough-in.

An elongated toilet has more of an oval-like shape to it, while a round-front toilet is more circular-shaped. The width and length of a round-front toilet is more likely to be the same or similar measurements, while the length of an elongated toilet will most likely be longer than its width.

We ask this question because some of the toilets we typically provide may be too tall to fit underneath a countertop or shelf, and so we will need to note that you will need a shorter model in order to get you the proper toilet for your properties.

A High-Efficiency toilet is a toilet that flushes less water than a standard toilet. We offer several types of toilets, and the types of toilets we install for you will depend on your property. We are proud to say that all the fixtures we provide are high-efficiency, and we make sure that each product works effectively and consistently.

We do install touchless fixtures for commercial properties. We offer a variety of different touchless solutions, which you can find here.

Yes! Most manufacturers offer warranties for their parts and products. Niagara offers a ten-year warranty on their parts.

We provide a one-year warranty following your installation. If you are experiencing any problems with your toilet or other fixtures, please give us a call and we will be able to help you.

While our headquarters is based in San Diego, we serve customers throughout California. We are happy to provide our services to any area in California. Contact us, if you have questions about services in your area.

General Questions

The water will be shut off at the angle stop water valve, similar to the one in the picture. Once the installations are complete, we can turn the water back on and verify that the fixtures are working properly. Each toilet install takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour to complete.

Multi-turn chrome plated angle Stop 1/2If we cannot turn off your angle stop (pictured right) we will have to shut off the water to your property to replace the angle stop. In doing this, there might be a service fee.

If your fixtures are already high efficiency, we will not be able to replace them. The programs we provide allow us to install new high efficiency fixtures to help our customers save water. If you are experiencing any leaking, clogging, or other plumbing issues, we will not be able to replace your toilet.

It depends on what kind of toilet is being installed, but it typically takes about 15-20 minutes to install one tank-and-bowl toilet. For wall-hung flush valve or floor-mount flush valve toilets, that time can be a little bit longer.

We will remove the old toilets from your property. Once we return to our warehouse in San Diego, we unload the toilets and recycle each one!

If you are not happy with your fixtures, please give us a call as soon as possible. We prioritize your satisfaction with our fixtures and installation services. We will work with you to find a solution that works best for your property and plumbing system.
